Top selling bikes in Australia minus Auspost purchases:

1. Yamaha WR450 1574
2. Yamaha WR250 904
3. Honda XR400 769
4. Honda VT750C 716
5. Suzuki GSXR1000 588
6. Honda CBR954 585
7. VMoto JX50 560
8. Suzuki DRZ400E 538
9. Harley Fatboy 497

Is a WR really that good a bike? (never really ridden a dirt bike)
Honda Shadow at 4, wtf?

I think that's only the registered bikes. Apparently the R1 dropped out of
the top 10 because people are waiting for the 2004 model to arrive. Yamaha
claim to have 700 on backorder.

ct110's shouldn't count as they were bought for postie bikes.

They are probably the sort of thing a cruiser rider coming off 250cc
restrictions would be buying... and Honda were selling them for about $10 or
$11K ride away for ages.

Still doesn't explain where they're all hiding[1]. With over 700 sold in a
year, you'd think you'd be coming across them at at least something of a
rate. I can honestly say I've seen more, way more, Kwaka Vulcans than Honda
Shadows.

Going by those figures, about every twelve hours a person buys a Honda
VT750C. That person should be found and stopped.

That's why you don't see 'em?
