Dose anyone here use the Thor Force knee guard? Didn't they have issues with
the older ones cutting your leg in a crash? Did they ever fix that problem?

I have the Force guards and I like them very much. I crash tested them a few
times since I started wearing them and no issues so far.

I try to crash test all my stuff. That way, you'll know if it's
any good for when you crash. If you don't get hurt crash testing, then
it's probably safe to wear for later crashing. Unless, of course, it
got damaged in the crash test. In which case it wasn't appropriate for
crashes and should not be offered to Tami ;-p

I have them also and so does my team-mate. We are to cheap to by braces and
to old not to wear nothing. They are padded big time and are not bulky.

A buddy wore them for the extra thigh protection they provided (until
he blew out his knee and needed "real" knee guards). Having suffered
many a deep thigh bruise from bark busters, I see his point.

I rode with a guy that had a brand new set last week. I ask how he liked
them and if they got caught on the bike or pinched or anything. They look
pretty bulky, but he said he didn't even notice them and loved them.

My favorite knee/shin guards are the MSR Aegis knee guards. They are
the most comfortable, and stay in place better than any others I have
ever had.
Plus, they are only $27.

I have EVS SC02 guards and they are nice. No worries about them cutting you.
They are the only knee guard I've worn that didn't irritate my legs. They
are a little pricey but well worth it.
