I have been seriously thinking about going to Wudi lately. Looks like
some other plans I had for a week or two before are falling apart. I
was already approved for the time off of work so it would be nothing
to move it back a couple weeks. I was just hoping to go with my new
bike but that isnt going to be happening until at least May ...unless
some kind of miracle happens. But I have the use of a special GasGas
Pampara that kinda knows me well...ok ..it fell on me once back in
Oct.
To any of the North Easterners who are going....I know the way
there...been there before....drove it all by myself....Have a truck in
Roanoke Va as proof.Could probably stop at exit 168 on RT81 and visit
it. Dont know if I will be alone or with my BF...havent really been
talking to him much about it.But I am dying to see my adopted parents
again...they know I love them.
So if anyone has room for someone else to tag along ...let me
know.Word of wisedom...if you go 81 to 40...40 sux going through
Tennessee..stay in the middle lane through Nashville and Memphis..the
traffic is aweful and the signs suck too.

currently bikeless..but soon to have a 2004 CRF230

OK, OK, I give. I have read time and again about this mysterious Wudi, but
never really seen anything on what it really amounts to or where.

Somebody please explain.

Thx.

Connie,
I have a Hare Scramble that weekend. If for some reason the race is
changed or canceled, I plan on attending Wudi, and I would have my wife and
a few extra bikes (cr125 and xr100) that you could barrow.
The race is the first in the points races for District 22 of the AMA. I
dont want to miss it.
Ill let ya know more.

Tom,
Look here to see what is going on:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://209.162.215.232/bb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=7" target="_blank">http://209.162.215.232/bb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=7</a>

Come join us in about 5 weeks, although it will be further South to
the gathering spot, this year. Southcentralwest Arkansas, in the
Ouachita Mountains (Wash-it-awe Mtns), just South of Hot Springs.
After a weekend of revelry in tst and roost, the party will head
north to Chadwick, MO, near Branson/Springfiels.

An unorganized non-event. All the rewards are personal. All the
satisfaction is real. Fellowship is king. Riding is the method.
Trails for everyone, even beginners (unless you ask Deb.)

Are you dropping in, john?

Connie (and mystery BF who I know is lurking - Hi!),

You're both going. He's got a truck and a bike. You've got a bike to
borrow. We'll see you there.

It's all settled. Wink

My truck is full, but you're welcome to jump in on our growing (?)
convoy... You can lead since you know the way.

Craig, this one's for you:

It was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June
And a Kenworth pullin' logs
Cab-over Pete with a reefer on
And a Jimmy haulin' hogs
We's headin' for bear on Eye-one-oh
'bout a mile outta Shakeytown
I says "Pigpen, this here's Rubber Duck"
"And I'm about to put the hammer down"

('cause we got a little ole convoy rockin' thru the night)
(Yeah, we got a little ole convoy, ain't she a beautiful sight?)
(Come on and join our convoy, ain't nothin' gonna get in our way)
(We gonna roll this truckin' convoy 'cross the USA)
(Convoy)

By the time we got into Tulsa-town we had 85 trucks in all
But they's a roadblock up on the cloverleaf
And them bears 's wall-to-wall
Yeah, them smokeys 's thick as bugs on a bumper
They even had a bear in the air
I says "Callin' all trucks, this here's the Duck"
"We about to go a-huntin' bear"

('cause we got a great big convoy rockin' thru the night)
(Yeah, we got a great big convoy, ain't she a beautiful sight?)
(Come on and join our convoy, ain't nothin' gonna get in our way)
(We gonna roll this truckin' convoy 'cross the USA)
(Convoy)

Well, we rolled up Interstate Forty-Four
Like a rocket-sled on rails
We tore up all of our swindle sheets
And left 'em settin' on the scales
By the time we hit that "Chi-town"
Them bears was a-gettin smart
They brought up some reinforcements
From the "Illinoise" National Guard

There's armored cars and tanks and jeeps
'n' rigs of ev'ry size
Yeah, them chicken coops was full of bears
And choppers filled the skies
Well, we shot the line, we went for broke
With a thousand screamin' trucks
And eleven long-haired friends of Jesus
In a chartreuse microbus

Well, we laid a strip for the Jersey Shore
Prepared to cross the line
I could see the bridge was lined with bears
But I didn't have a doggone dime
I says "Pigpen, this here's the Rubber Duck"
"We just ain't a-gonna pay no toll"
So we crashed the gate doin' ninety-eight
I says "let them truckers roll, ten-four"

('cause we got a mighty convoy rockin' thru the night)
(Yeah, we got a mighty convoy, ain't she a beautiful sight?)
(Come on and join our convoy, ain't nothin' gonna get in our way)
(We gonna roll this truckin' convoy 'cross the USA)
