Since it's only a few days away and noone has posted anything yet...

2004 Ausmoto Superbike Dinner

Date: Thursday 25th March 2004
Time: 7pm
Where: Village Green Hotel
Cnr Springvale and Ferntree Gully Roads Mulgrave
Easy access via the South Eastern Arterial - take the
Ferntree Gully Rd exit and you are just a stones throw away
Cost: $17.95 per person - Smorgasboard - This Includes Asian,
Carvery, Fish and Chips, Salad and Dessert Bar. Drinks are separate and are
at Pub prices.

(Actually I didn't ask them about the cost when I rang and booked so assume
that it is still the same as it was for the GP dinner last October but be
prepared for another dollar or so worth of inflation).

A booking has been made but we need to know numbers as if the booking needs
to be changed we need to do so before the night.

Please reply to this post with a "me too" if you will be attending.

Given it's going to be a late finish in the CBD (~7ish) I don't think I'm up to
driving all the way out to Phillip Is (I've never been there so I don't know the
way, I have a vague idea of my way around Melb but not that well) and I have to
be at work again at an earlyish hour on Saturday (in the CBD) Sad

OK. Well I'll try and get my way out to PI on Sunday under my own steam (it's
about 2 hrs drive isn't it - I guess I'll hire a car)

Last time I went I walked in in a brash confident manner, I ignored the door
bitch, cos shes a door bitch, although she sort of looked at me but didnt say
anything. About 2 hours later I figured out that you were supposed to pay on
entry.
It was a bit late by then....

LOL.

I can just imagine the look on her face - and perhaps yours after you'd
realised the error.

Its probably one of those things where if you LOOK as if you know what you're
doing and that you have a right to be there then people get very uncertain about
facing you down, even if thats there job
