I've had Nigerian brewed Guiness. Tasted more like Mackesons.

They probably told the brewery they had access to
$1,000,000,000,000,000,000 locked in a disused bank a/c. All Diageo had
to do to access it was ship over a boatload of the stuff first.

Nigerian Guinness is brewed in Africa and bears almost no resemblance to
Guinness as you know it.

It's about 9% for a start.

I had a mate who was a quality tested for Guiness, at Park Royal. He
swore that the breweries all use the same recipe, the same ingredients
and treat the water, so they're all the same.

Which is clearly not the case!

I wouldn't say it's vile. They sell it in the shop round the corner and
one of the added bonuses is that the bottles are bigger so less time
opening and more time drinking.

And, according to QI, Ireland is the biggest exporter of bananas in
the EU.

Each to their own, I suppose. It tastes 'orrible and I don't like high
ABV beer. Give me something ~ 4.5 per cent and I'm much happier.
