Archived from groups: aus>motorcycles (more info?)

Security forces monitored the proliferation of crop circles on a sleepy
property in regional NSW this week.

Interest was piqued further as a number of tents sprouted within the
aforementioned crop circles. Reports from Saturday night's surveillance
mission by stealth aircraft indicated the presence of several black pointy
hats cavorting around a giant signal fire, and
what appeared to be a landing strip, marked at each end by flashing red
bicycle lights (a fav tool of pointy-hatted t*rr*r*sts ).

Suspicion that security forces had stumbled upon a training camp for Very
Bad People prompted several early morning
sweeps by Blackhawk helicopters filled with heavily armed troops, who slunk
home in their chopper when the light of day showed that the alleged "landing
strip" was nothing more than a mown strip with a dunny at one end and a
Naughty Stool (vacant, coz BT was disarmed) at the other.

END OF REPORT (apart from this bit): Thanks BT & Minx, for organising a
terrific time - you are true firemeisters.

This was my first ever rally - it was really great to put some more faces to
names, and practise my novice beer-witch duties so I can get Johno a beer
"properly" one of these days <grin>.

Thanks heaps everybody - (and special thanks to Tim and Jase for "escorting
" me off the property and all the way on that bloody gravel road back to
civilisation Very Happy ... I think I just about hit 60kmh on bits of it (is that
"winding it out", lemmiwinks???<snigger>)

Can't wait to see the pics!

Yep, he SMSed me this afternoon to say that he'd arrived safely. He
also assured me that he had a splendid time, although maybe he was
just being polite. Wink

yes dear <snigger>

Mate, I had a ball - it was really great to be feeling comfortable
doing my own thing - chatting/boozing/beer-witching/sitting quietly in
the tent. I loved it.

Definitely want to do the PI thing with aus.moto now! Who do I need to
talk to, to organise a spot for myself?

Um.... just one question, petal.... New uniform? WTF? The pointy hat's
not enough?

Nah, I reckon he was telling the truth - it was a splendid time for
everyone! That was a bloody good effort, I reckon - all the way from
Melbourne and not knowing a soul.... (then again, somebody who dangles from
great heights for a living is OBVIOUSLY a gutsy person! <grin>)

Mp problem mate. You didn't wake *me* up, and the people you did were
all up and about and ready to be conscripted into making breakfast,
etc. Wink

Of course it's quicker! It's all DOWNHILL! Just look at a map, man:
you're going from top to bottom!

I know I harp on about this, but get yourself a sheepskin. Once
