Rode the bike into work today after a stretch of bad weather. Started
right up and the motor sounded sweet and smooth all the way. Pulled
into the parking lot and a car starting to pull out in front froze in
its tracks with a throttle blip and a roar from the pipes. Pulled into
the space and a couple of dogs started howling. What a great day.

Marshall, Michigan here. Rode mine into the dealership for inspection after
I repaired some wipeout damage myself. Bike now has a clean bill of health.

It was 33 degrees here.

I got several startled looks from people who didn't expect a motorcycle out
in the cold weather.

I'm afraid that my little VT600 doesn't "roar". I'm jealous.

It's raining and in the 40's today. I rode the Street Glide to
work. I think I decided *not* to sell it....

A very wise choice. Your Street Glide sounds like it is a very fine
motorcycle.

I think I had more fun riding into work in the rain today than I've
ever had riding in the rain before. Well, except for riding in the
rain on rain race tires at the racetrack, anyway.

Dang, it was funny watching the faces of the car drivers who couldn't
believe that a motorcylcist was out int hat weather!

Geez, I am struggling to find an hour or two during the middle of the
afternoon where the thermometer creeps above freezing to squeeze in a
short ride and you are enjoying 80 degree temps.

Life just isn't fair, at least to me. Wink

The first season I got back into riding I rode a Nighthawk to work at +26
F. I didn't do that again. Back in my teens I rode home from a friend's
at +10F. Only did that once too.

It's nice to hear people are getting their bikes back out for another
season.
