Hi Frank,

service indicator on Ducati Motorcycles can be resetted only by a Ducati
Official Maintenance Center with his dedicate Diagnostic Instrumentation..

Lame.
I like to wrench my own bikes. Looks like I will just have to put a piece
of black electrical tape over the indicator to permanently reset it.

Hold down the left button on the gauge set while you turn on the key. It
should clear the maintenance remainder if it's like the Monsters.

Someone pointed that out to me on the Monster board. Unfortunately it does
not seem to work on my '04 ST. Besides the electrical tape works fine. Wink

I'm pretty sure Gabriele's right - resetting the service light
requires the use of the dealer's "Mathesis" tester.
