Chapter Two
This is the part where I get a bit nervous about
1. Will it start, and run?
2. What if it's a POS and I just blew all that cash on some pile of
junk?
3. What if I can't ride this thing for one reason or another?
4. And the rest of the list of things you might ask yourself when you
buy a used MC without even riding it first.

Well, dang , it just exceeded any possible expectations I had of it in
every way. Totally. And it took all of about 2 miles of twisty road to
get very comfortable with it's basic characteristics.

Throttle and clutch are smooth easy to manage the giant torque, the
dam bike holds a line like a siberian tiger climbing a styrofoam wall.
Unfkcingreal!
Turn in is very Duc-esque with the usual chunkiness.

Just amazingly smooth for a twin and the frame/suspension plush enough
for a geezer like me.

I'll take it!
But I might install some grip heaters.

For two miles anyway. Better get another set of those Converti-bars
if you intend to go long though.

It has some sort of aftermarket bars , called Tres Moto or something.
Unfortunately they restrict the lock to lock range a bit. The previous owner
put little rubber bumpers along the front fairing edges to protect them from
scratching.
That's fine unless you need to use the full range to back out of a parking
spot on a slope like I did today. Sort of surprised me a bit. Like "oh no
more range there".
Jim

I'm going to see if I can't lower them a bit or something. If that doesn't
do it, then Convertibars or Heli's it is.
