We missed eachother on this one. I didn't refer to the country regarded
in the article but the country of mr Hunts residence. A guess would be
USA but since i dislike assumptions, i went carefully on that one.

Probably a good way for anybody to make a stolen vehicle report to
the police, and have that bike confiscated from it's rightful owner, and be
processed in the Court mills for years....

A lot of ppl have done that, I happened to me with a Honda Elite
Scooter, after 4 months, I had to go to City Hall to get the bike back, as
the police who stole it were indemnified of their act of total stupidity,
and lack of balls...

Actually, in Colombia, I think they have a different set of problems.

Years ago, weren't there a lot of "ride-by" shootings as part of the drug
trade where they had a driver carrying a passenger facing backwards with an
automatic weapon.

Such a duo could do a lot of damage and then escape no matter what the
traffic situation due to the small path required for a motorcycle.

Yes, that was in the rest of the posting which this dimbulb decided to
