for Stoner, watching the highlights today he gestured aggressively at
Checa for apparentely following him and another clip showed him
hitting his tank in a different incident, dunno if he was justified in
those incidents or not but I can't help feeling he is getting really
edgy and feeling the pressure. And though he claims he's not worried
about the title I really bet he wants to wind it up this weekend and
that self pressure may be the thing that stops him doing it this
meeting. He's only 21 and on the verge of his biggest ever achievement
one that few top racers ever accomplish no one can blame him for
feeling the pressure even though he really has it all in hand, I hope
he chills out and just gets on doing what he's done all year then it
will all be OK. Will he finish ahead of Vale and claim the title, or
will he throw caution to the wind take a risk and let Rossi beat him
so he can take the title at his home race in PI next meeting?

*So* much has to go wrong for Stoner not to win the title that I can not
think he's that edgy. His form betrays his advantage - it is not difficult
for him to perform to the level required to secure the title. It's just a
formality right now. I truly feel that way. His superiority and control has
been too obvious.

No, he gesticulated at Checa because he (Stoner) was at full speed and
Checa wasn't (tho not on a slow down lap, because he didn't pull in),
but Checa was right in the middle of the straight.

Rider's who aren't riding at race speed typically pull to the side of
the straights for safety's sake.

While Stoner's annoynance is understandable (he very nearly clouted
Checa from behind), his gesticulating was a little out of order, I
think. Others have recieved fines for similar behaviour; according to
the Eurosport commentary today, Stoner has not been fined or
reprimanded.

The Foggy incident was caused by the other rider (no idea who without
googling) fumbling for the ign remap switch but toggling the kill switch by
mistake... ouch.
