I have always named my cars, trucks and bikes.
For instance, my CR500R is named "The Beast".
My GSXR1000 is named "Demon".
My wife thinks I am just kidding her about the naming thing.
I just wanted to know what other people named their bikes?
And what Kind of bike it is.
Thanks all.
Dave & Becky.

Naming your bike? That would be so, well, gay. Metrosexual
at the least. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I've got two trucks now. I call one "the Ford" and other "the Chevy".
I call my bike "my bike" and my kid's "his bike". I call his old bike
"the one that's for sale".
I've got to get back to "my beer" now.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Naming your bike? |

I called my 1995 Chevy Tahoe Turbo Diesel "Stinky" after a fuel
injector leak left it smelling like raw diesel fuel for a couple
weeks.
I call my 2002 Avalanche "The Plastic Armadillo".
I called my XRs "Thumper".
I guess my KTM is simply "The Pumpkin" although the way it treats me
sometimes maybe Hulk Hogan or Ali would be more appropriate.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Naming your bike? |

re: gay
Man, DreamSickle is so close to creamsicle which is kind of pastel,
phalic and, well, creamy. You are a very sick man.
re: metro
I've been asking chicks about this metro thing. None of them like the
name too much, but most like the concept of a guy who stops to think
about the color of his socks. I'm getting mixed feedback on the notion
of grooming the weazel, but there seem to be enthusiastic proponents
of the aero look. I can't even figure out a good mustache or beard
shape, so...
I guess you can go metro in degrees. For example you could wear the
right socks, but skip the body waxing. It would be good to know more
about wine.

I have been known to do this.
Funny story. I have worked as handyman/carpenter on and off through
the years. One day I was hanging pictures and other fussy stuff in a
small mansion. One piece was giving me a hard time and I think I
called it a bitch. Nobody was around, I thought, but the house was
full of cameras. The lady told me that she thinks I have a problem
with women.
Maybe that bitch was on to something.
Hmmm,

I don't name my bikes, but maybe I should. "Old Yeller" seems
appropriate for the '85 RM-250. Oh wait, Old Yeller died...

In my opinion, naming your bike or any inanimate object for that matter
is the most gay-assed, yuppie, sweater tied around your neck, white wine
sipping, thing a person can do. People who name their bike rank right up
there with the people who like to name their children with names like
Tristen, Kaitlan, Tyler, Saran, Madison, Taylor, Etc.
Again, this is just my opinion. >> Stay informed about: Naming your bike? |

Red is kewl. You can sip that.
White is best guzzled.
Should I try this little bottle of port that I have? Or do I save that
for, like, what?
Snifter? Small glass?

Whew...good thing I like red. I'd never want to be considered gay, or anything...
