I find the Rossi rumours staggering especially when I read that he is
unhappy that he will have to share the best bikes with 5 others so he
is considering a switch to Yamaha for a bike that is obviously far
inferior. Makes no sense unless he doesn't believe he's better than
everyone else in the field unless he has the very best equipment. From
what I've seen and heard about him this doesn't fit the image that I
had of him. Maybe he will leave Honda but I just can't believe that it
has too much to do with having equal equipment.

If Honda are really going to hand out six equal bikes next year I'd
like to see the following on them -

1. Rossi (to see how good he really is)
2. Biaggi (just to see whether his whining can be justified)
3. Edwards (he should of been on a Honda this year)
4. Hayden (I think we've seen enough over the last couple of races to
suggest that he will win races next year)
5. Bayliss (on sorted equipment I think he would certainly be winning
races)
6. Gibernau (has done enough this year to deserve one more chance, but
if he doesn't finish ahead of the rest of the above it should be
sayonara)

The above has a snowballs chance in hell of happening I know, but it's
just what I would like to see.

Penno.

Only problem with that is,if it were to happen, everyone else might just
as well stay home! Unless the other manufacturers start improving
they're program

So by saying he will have to share "equal" bikes with 5 others, does that
mean his bike is a cut above the rest this season? That's what I think
anyway, Rossi is a brilliant rider, quite possibly, even probably the best,
but he's always had the bike advantage so it's hard to make a fair judgment.
But as long as he rides for the official HRC team I think his bike always
will be just that bit better, but that's all it takes. (If his bike is only
0.2 secs faster than the rival Hondas per lap that's 4 secs in a 20 lap race
and that's the margin he wins by, only subtle but enough).
