So .. anyone get any nice bolt-ons for their Dukes this Xmas? I got a red
clutch plate and open, black anodised clutch cover to fit on the 749 (make a
feature of that noisy clutch!). Actually ... they make a lovely metallic
tinkling sound when pulled in if you have the clutch exposed.

During days of inclement weather, I rattle nuts and bolts around in
an old coffee can.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

This Christmas was too good for my S4 (well I bought some of the gifts for
myself but psssstttt....). The wife got me the red DucPerf chain (to match
the new 39 DucPerf rear sprocket) - all will be lovely covered by the new
Rizoma front sprocket cover.
The big item set is a new billet Triple from CycleCat and a set of riser
adapters, risers, and bars. This stuff is already mounted and it looks
gorgeous!!! On top of this I mounted a set of DucPerf billet mirrors. I
would love to test this setup but two screws are missing; ducktape is good
for many thing but won't do it in here. Should get the screws tomorrow and
will head for a ride - great wheather here is Seattle (clear skies but cold)
More bike things were under the tree: World SB 2002 DVD, Faster 2 DVD set,
bike clean and polish kit, Ducati Perf shirt, and Destination Highway WA
guide.
Somehow my friends got a hint about what makes me really happy and I have
been as happy with the above as a child (I actually think I had never been
that happy Smile)

Cheers

WOW! Nice one .. and decent weather too. Too much salt on the roads here at
moment to take the 749 out. In fact, in this climate there is little point
in me having a fancy chain/sprocket set because it will just end up looking
white with the ceramic chain lube before long. There are only a few weeks in
mid sumer when it is really possible to keep chains pristine, then the lube
comes out when the rain starts.
