As threatened, kind-of a ride report! A few pics and a bit of a
description of the route.

Again, thanks to everyone who helped with the route!

Mark

must be something to do with the raod up that way but when i got to batemans
bay the steel was showing up on my rear tyre as well....must admit that the
people at capital coast cycles were most helpful in getting a new set of
tyres on my bike even though their mechanincs were all on holidays....

anyway, the new tyres were great and made the trip back to melbourne via the
snowys very enjoyable...

Nice bit of road, eh? (Yep, I know *exactly* where you were!)

What did you think of the extremely granitey country a bit further
along around Darby's falls?

I'm surprised you didn't get all uppity and correct his misspelling of
Boorowa. You can't rely on Smee to play the spelling nazi... Victorian school
teachers are on strike today.

He got it right 50% of the time, that's pretty good for around here.

Besides, I'm not one of those big-city Boorowa people - I'm from Frogmore. Wink

Yeah, I thought that was really nice country. By that stage I was
getting tired though, and wondering where I would lay my head (riding a
full day on a big hangover is no fun! But what was the alternative?
Not drinking the night before? Not an option!)

That little detour via Hailstone Way was well worth it Smile

Oh - and Nev - go fuck yourself Nazi Smile
