I just [flipping through channels] landed on the nascar truck race being held in New-Hamshire. They {the announcers} refer to the track as the "Magic-Mile" ?? I'm 58 years old,.& have been following,& attending motorcycle & auto racing since I was a kid. {getting sick of nascar though} The mile dirt track at DuQuoin has always been known as the "Magic-Mile". Has nascar gotten so desperate that they now stoop to [track] name stealing ? I guess all these "new" race "fans" have no memory ,..or loyalty....ron >> Stay informed about: Magic Mile !

THE Mile..(another photo finish!) - Carr takes the win over Springer by .006! Kenny Coolbeth rounds out the box ..126 off the lead. It can't get much better and damn sure not much closer than that! The top 8 all were within 6 secs at the flag. Now that is close racing! Two Suzuki's..

Inday Mile at the MGP - According to Yvonne at Family Events (site promoter) tickets for the Indy Mile will go on sale thru Ticket-master Jan. 21, IIRC most of the Fairground's stadium seats are reserved, so if you're planning on going it might be a good idea not to wait too...

Indy Gp & Mile - Does anyone know if the Brickyard will be wide open for the GP ?....or stadium seating only ? I'm wondering the same about the Mile. Last mile I attended there,..grandstand was priced a-bit more,..but there was also a general admission ? I'm thinking...
