We currently are manufacturing and selling a MultiFunction Pager Unit and
also a GPS tracking system which can track and disable your vehicle.
The Pager system works on the GSM network and will notify you by phone call
and text message if your vehicle's security system is triggered. It will
send you a text message with Battery condition, & time of trigger.
This unit has 3 outputs so you can control 3 functions by sending a text
message. EG unlock doors, immobilise starter motor, flash indicators etc.
Has a separate panic button input which can send a message to a 2nd phone
number.
Unit also has a function where you can dial in and listen to what is
happening inside the vehicle. (Useful to check if false alarm)
This system has no monitoring costs , your only costs are the sms you use.
This unit has very low power consumption and can be used with suitable
lithium batteries for long periods of time in areas with no power source.
2nd Unit:
Basically same funtions as above but will give you the vehicles location ,
speed, and direction of travel as well as lattitude and longtitude.
Contains the Full UBD Maps for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide,
Canberra and Perth. You can set a max vehicle speed. If that speed is
passed it can
send a message to a second phone number.
So if vehicle is in those area's it will give you the page number of UBD,
Grid reference, Sub Grid, direction of travel and speed.
You always get lat and long so if vehicle is off the maps you simply go to
the web site and enter co ordinates and up comes a street map with a big red
circle to show you where the vehicle is. There is also software available to
track you vehicle from your lap top or computer.
This information is sent to you on trigger of the system or you can get this
info any time of the day by ringing the Carminder unit - it won't answer but
hangs up and then it will send to the authorised mobile a text message with
the above info.
No moniotring costs you just pay for your sms.
Now depending on who you use for your mobile phone calls costs on sms can
vary.
Virgin to Virgin is at the moment just 5 cents.
Other carriers have special deals where they give you, so many sms a month
free for example. So monitoring may be almost at nil cost depending on your
usage and plan.
