So, does anyone know for sure how the ownership of the
Stanley Cup is handled? It was originally managed by a
group of Trustees. Has complete and total trusteeship
shifted to the NHL? What happens to it upon folding of the
NHL, or loss of all Canadian teams?

I wonder which league gets to hand it out this year. There are plenty of
professional hockey leagues other than the NHL.

Whoops. I wasn't fast enough on the "Cancel Article"
button. (and who says it has to be a professional team?
This might be MY year!)

It's always been a bit of a fantasy of mine. Why not turn the Stanley Cup
or one of the other "cups" into a competition involving ALL North American
hockey teams/leagues like they do in England with the FA Cup?

I know it's a pipe dream, but it's my pipe dream....

Did you see No Opportunity Wasted? I woulda spent the $3k on a new C/A, a new
mask, and maybe new leg pads.

No I didn't see it. I'm presuming it's a "reality" show
wher eyou get a crack at making it pro? We've got a new
Canadian "reality" show where the big prize is an
invitation to an NHL training camp. "Making the Cut" or
something.

Me, I was just thinking of puttin' on the foil.
