Post subject: LA may lose "Freedom Of Choice"
Archived from groups: alt>motorcycles>abate (more info?)

In a vote of 10-3 the House Transportaion Committee voted to move
forward with HB 109 that will force all riders to war helmets while on a
motorcycle. This was done despite the states own admission that the
number of deaths per registered riders has not increased since SB 86
repealed the helmet law in 1999.

If you believe in the Freedom Of Choice please send letters , e-mails,
or call LA House members and let them know you are aginst this bill.
They can be found a www.legis.state.la.us or by going to
www.abateoflouisiana.org and clicking onthe state seal.

Thnak you for your help

Kevin
