Last minute Bee, as usual, suddenly realised today that her bike insurance
expires midnight tonight.

Did a quick ebike quote, which gave £192 FC with no voluntary excess,
compulsory excess of £250 on each bike. Pretty good, methought.

Decided to give my insurance company a chance to quote and ended up with
£189 FC, protected full NCB, excesses of £250 on R6, £150 on CRF, 90 days
green card.

Now back with Express Insurance for another year and pretty chuffed with the
price. There's some benefit in getting more mature, it seems.

Besides getting a bus-pass and smelling of wee, you mean?

Well, if you don't smell of wee, there's the ever present danger of having
the bus weirdo come sit next to you...

I don't do public transport much - last time I did was the night I ended up
ratarsed at a works leaving do a couple of weeks ago. Consequently, I have
now decided that if I ever go out again, I will be driving, thus avoiding a
repetition of that particular evening <shudders> Therefore, I don't expect
to be bussing it again in the near future Smile

OI!! I haven't reached the big four-oh just yet - still have 3 months to go!

My occupation as per official paperwork is very innocuous sounding and can
cover a vast multitude of sins, thankfully. I'm seen as being the staid,
solid, reliable, paper-pusher type person - the sort whose signature counts
for something on passport photographs, f'rinstance. Wink

Is the victim a member, or non-member now?
