Got the Venture insured today. Unlike the Virago I wanted collision
and comprehensive on this one. The initial quote was $707.00 with a
$500.00 deductible. After asking a few questions and playing with the
coverage we tried a policy with all perils covered except vandalism.
The price dropped to $425.00. Now to me that is an incredible
difference considering vandalism is not a huge issue around here. I
mean with all of my bikes the worst that has ever happened is someone
swiped a side cover off one of my old Hondas. I had my Dodge Ram
tagged once with spray paint but that was no big deal to remove it.

I have no idea if this is common with all policies but it might be
worth inquiring about it, if you are not too concerned with vandalism.

How long do you think it will take your mural to become part of somebody's

Hmmm if I leave the vandalism on maybe I can claim someone tagged the
lid.

The insurance company is already going after the guy who painted the top
case. If they find him, I say they should sue.
