Mr. Levy as Chairperson of the RMD rules committee, has delegated this task
to me:

Please stop using OT: (Off Topic) to designate your off topic posts.

Many news readers drop the OT: on some posts.
Why, we don't know or care. It just makes following some threads
unnecessarily complicated.

To rectify the problem of the OT thread sort,
the RMD rules committee recommends that you start new OT posts with the
subject you'd like to address. Readers can then determine if it's a topic
that will interest them.

This rules change should not be in any way construed as an attempt to limit
Off Topic posting or discourage your individual posting freedom to change On
Topic threads into Off Topic subjects
(vis-a-vis)

Your compliance is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

RMD Rules Committee

Or, all "on topic" posts will carry the OT (On Topic) nomenclature. This
way, I won't have to wade through boring posts about XR400s.

Also, this alleviates the problem of prioritizing posts, your proposal, a
difficult task when I'm already encumbered with being hypnotized and/or
making the lady talk Gremen.
