We left Tuesday morning.. It was cold.. Nearly froze my butt off..
Got down to Tomaball ok..
Sure had a good time, visiting with everyone..
Spent the nite in a motel..
Left Houston Wednesday morning to come back to DFW.. It was
cold, but not as bad as Tuesday..
Got back home ok.. Sure had a good time..

Louie has really got himself a nice motorcycle..

Yeah, it was windy towards us.

> Got down to Tomaball ok..

Went the longa way around.

> Sure had a good time, visiting with everyone..

We did. There are a lot of people driving around down in that area and it
took some effort for those who met up with us to do so. A couple of those
who met us also work and have jobs.

Funny how we ran into Jerry over 100 miles north. I think he was up there
trying to find some tractor parts for his bike. And what topped that was to
discover Morgan Kane, in the dark, right in the middle of 8 full lanes of
traffic riding around in the center left turn lane using it as his HOV lane.

Priced and maintained to discourge visitors.

Took a longera way back...avoiding traffic delays, finding others.

Glad you did, we left you with the toughest part of the ride after you
dropped us off. I hope you were courteous to the other highway users.

tks.. I was glad to win those awards.

Best looking bike
Best quiet bike
Best 2up
Best owner
Best bike to have more standard equipment than Jerry could tack weld to his
Valkyrie.

<chuckle> Everyone ought to try this retirement thing.. huh ?

lol.. Jerry came walking down that street like he was in charge, didn't he
?
I was impressed with how the colors on that jumpsuit of his, was such a
perfect match with the Green Vulcan.. <grin>

hmmm.. Now that you mention it, I was really surprised when Morgan Kane
rolled up alongside of me, in Tomball.. He had a grin on his face that was
wide
as Texas... Sure good to see him, again.. Good eats in the Goodson's
Restaurant
too.. Thanks for the treat.. next time, I'm buying..

That old fat girl wasn't budging on the price, either.. You have to
consider,
she quoted us the price after she gave us the AARP discount.. I'd hate to
know
what she charges the public for full price.... Outrageous..

That's a fact.. Every Interstate was wall to wall.. Everyone trying to be
somewhere else on Thanksgiving Day.. <grin> Even us..

By all means.. Highway courtesy is my strong point, you know.. The rest of
my little ride to LaCasa was real good.. Traffic moving right along, not too
heavy and I made good time.. Forty five minutes, at most..

I'm not real big on gadgets, but he's sure got some handy little add ons ..
That
air horn impressed me most.. I think I recognized some of the guages he's
welded on that big sucker, though.. hmmm.. That's recalling the days when I
operated Massey Feguson equipment.. Yep.. that's where I've seen that stuff
before..

One of these days, if and when Bjay ever gets a kitchen pass to leave the
zip
code in Bowie county, he needs to ride down and take a close look at all the
stuff that Jerry has bolted on his Valkyrie.. <grin> That'll cause him to
start
decorating that old borrowed and maintainance deprived motorcycle of his..

Happy Thanksgiving.. hope everyone has a good one..

Speaking of...where'd you borrow that new bike from?

Do ya suppose they have another that I can borrow?

If not, do ya suppose I could borrow yours sometime?

I'm just wondering how you managed to find your way to Houston in the
dark...considering you find your way EVERY WHERE ELSE by using the
sun....
