Yep. When I bought my FJR (perfect, with about 800 miles on it) the seller
THREW IN the top case, the taller windshield, the heated grips, etc. He
realized that they don't add to the resale, and used 'em as an incentive to
get me to buy the bike. (He didn't have to, it was sold when I test rode
it.)

And at the time you couldn't walk into a Yamaha dealer and buy an FJR; it
was truly a seller's market for that bike.

I'd part out the accessories and see what you'll get for 'em.

Hey Lynn.. I know that motorcycle that you are selling.. They are few and
far between, but there are buyers out there that appreciated the Valkyrie..
Now that Honda has stopped production on them, that bike should bring the
price you are asking if you are patient..

All but one of these turkeys that are giving you all this "good" advice, are
not qualified to make the claims they are making.. Don't be discouraged..
YOU know what you've got invested in that motorcycle and YOU are the only
one to make the decision of what you'll take for it..

Unless you just happen to be financially desperate..which I don't think that
you are, just sit tight.. these guys are not going to buy the motorcycle,
anyway.. no matter what price you put on it..Hang in there, pard.. Either
someone will pay the price you are asking, or you can ride it out, on a
damned awesome motorcycle, I might add..

Your friend in Irving

Yowza. My bride and I are house shopping now... one of the areas we're
searching is Sugar Land. Beautiful area.

Thank goodness it was just a scare. I detest mall parking lots.

Now there's a plan. Smile

 > Why you selling her?

I'm overextended. Not enough money in and too much going out.
Very simple formula that is so easy to violate.

Wow, Lynn, I went to see how your auction was doing, and I see some fool
used to buy-it-now to mess it up for you.

Looks like it was a stolen account. The guy went through and "bought" a
bunch of motorcycles on the 16th.

Yes, I am screaming at Ebay about it ! They do not have a method for me
to restart my listing so I am screwed. I will probably relist it tomorrow and
pay another $40.

This is the last time that I use a buy-it-now at Ebay.

I sold my last bike on Ebay just fine. And got what I wanted, $3500 for a
2000 NH 750.
