At least the cash helps you feel better and opens the door to other

Just because I always seem to notice the most insignificant detail,
the Ebay listing says the bike is financed through Honda. But, other
text says the title is clear.

What am I misunderstanding?

The Ebay listing for titles has the choices of Clear, Damaged or
Salvage. So, I chose Clear. The title just has a lien on it.

Pasadena Honda has the same bike for less than you are asking brand new with
0 miles. They have had them all summer. I just sold my Valk Interstate and
I know you are pricing yourself out of the market.

Look at previous sells on Ebay - you aren't going to get 12,000 for a
standard Valk with nothing special added.

FYI

Bight the bullet - it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it -
nothing more nothing less, no matter how badly she will be missed.

Do the windshield and hard bags not count ? They are $1,300 of extras.

Actually, the reserve is $11,800. I would probably take $11,500 right now.
Lower than that and I will keep her for a while.

Perhaps, but Lynn does note added bags and windshield.

Want to make a Bet - I'm willing?

Yes bags and shield count but not as much as you think. You are actually
better off removing them and selling them out right. Ebay and Honda's I
know - I also know if you run it long enough you will eventually find
someone willing to pay but at a minimum of 60 bucks a pop it gets expensive
fast.

Nope. Got a bug enough bet running right now !

Actually, my ebay fee to date is $39.95. It will cost another $30
when somebody meets my reserve price.

Well, if Lynn does decide to part the bags/windshield, I may know
someone interested in one or maybe both.

Yep. That'll add another $5k to the price.

True. Most options add ZERO at selling time. At most they only help slow
depreciation. Much better to remove them and part them out. That way
you're more likely to get 50 cents on the dollar instead of nothing.

My guess is that you'll keep her. It's a shame, but folks typically won't
pay diddly for accessories, and especially on Ebay they're looking for
bargains.

Cruisers, other than Harleys, depreciate like rocks.

When I was looking at Valkyries, I found some really nice, low-mileage
examples for $7.5-9K. But I hope you can get more for yours.

Probably true. At $240 per month to Honda finance, it is not a big burden.
I just got stupid and bought a new big house in April also that is dragging
me down. And the boy went back to TAMU this summer which was a
real good thing except for the $4,000 bill. Suddenly, cash is short.

I also got a good scare a couple of weeks ago. A little grey haired old
lady in a Crown Vic nearly tboned me in the First Colony Mall parking
lot after I picked up the 18 yr old from her job. If she had been going
about 3 mph faster, both of us would have lost our left legs and more.
There was absolutely nothing I could have done about it.

If not, the good riding season is approaching and I will try again next
spring if I want to. Otherwise, 75 F days are fast approaching.
