It appears that the FJR is going to work out very well, so we've decided
to let the Pacific Coast find a new home. It's been a great ride, and
I'm sad to see it go, but we don't need two sport touring bikes.
The PC has been a wonderful first "real" motorcycle for us. Lots of
carrying capacity in integrated trunk, plenty of power for 2-up riding,
good protection from wind and rain, and the legendary Honda reliability.
It's an outstanding introduction to sport touring.
For those not familiar, it's an 800cc V-Twin with hydraulic valve
adjusters which require very infrequent adjustment. Full bodywork makes
it trival to keep clean. 40-45 mpg, and it cruises effortlessly at 85-90
with two aboard.
I'm going to place some ads for it, but I thought I'd give tx.moto
readers first shot at it.
It's a 1997 model, red, with about 10,000 miles. Outstanding condition;
the only modification is the Hondaline backrest. Tires are in great
shape.
I've also added two stick-on instruments: a round aluminum clock and a
round aluminum thermometer, both easily removable.
$5,495 OBO. In Houston, Texas
Photos available to interested buyers.
