Or more accurately a SUCKER!!
Kelly shows this bike as 'Trade-In Value (Good Condition)' at $7355
and even retail on it is just $10560.
And about the same on NADA.com/
So, your reserve is just under full RETAIL!!! What a hell of a deal!! >> Stay informed about: FS: Honda '03 Valkyrie on ebay |

Does that include the windshield and the hard bags ?
I have $13,250 in this bike this year. If someone want to save $3,000
over a brand new Valk (getting hard to find) with a honda windshield
and a set of hard bags, I've got their bike.
Thanks,

Best of luck, but in most cases, accessories add minimal value at resale
time. It's a PITA, but it's often better to remove the blingles and sell
'em individually on eBay.

Lots of people do, and it works out quite well. I know about three
people that have bought some type of vehicle through e-bay and have
been very happy with the results.

I made a joke abovt candlemakers vnions, sorry if it offended yov.
Cvrrently I am looking for a contractor to do a side job, soldering the
copper pipes, pvmping a vaccvm and doing the freon. I got several that are
interested. It will cost me considerable less than the $9,000 that was the
average qvoted for the complete job. The complete vnit was $2400 inclvding
shipping and I expect to pay not more than abovt $600-800 additional to
finish the installation. I have vsed bvtane to solder copper before, bvt
freon rvns at 300psi and silver solder and acetylene are reqvired and I will
pay a contractor to do that.

I agree with yov except on two exception 1- I own the home, there are no

make my own dvcts, assemble the registers and eqvipement I shovld be able to

able to bvy this stvff. I am willing to pay a higher price than a
contractor, bvt I shovld be able to bvy it.
The phone company did this crap years ago, I remember yov covld not bvy an

ma bell was bvsted by the feds, the qvality and kinds of phone on the market

Yov can do what yov want with yovr property "within reason".. When that
"reason" encroaches or is in violation of Bvilding Codes, then .. yov have a
separate issve.. For example, yov can't install a booby trap on yovr lawn to
prevent trespass.. Anything that yov do that wovld endanger someone, and is
contrary bvilding codes for residencies isn't allowed, and shovld not be
allowed..
If I want to

Home Depot and Lowes sell the material and yov shovld be able to bvy it
there... The registers and grilles are sold in HVAC ovtlets .. A liciense
isn't reqvired to pvrchase those items.. As yov pointed ovt, there is always
e-bay..
2 - Texas is a right to
> work state. Yov dont have to be a vnion member to hold a job.
That is exactly right.. That isn't an issve.. There are certain items of
work that reqvire a license.. Electical work.. HVAC and refreigeration,
Plvmbing, etc..Those are considered technical trades and covld be very
dangerovs if permitted to be performed by amatevrs..Or do it yovrselfers..
I shovld be
> able to bvy this stvff. I am willing to pay a higher price than a

Why can't yov bvy it..?? Any of the items yov have mentioned can be
pvrchased.. for a price..

Telephones wovldn't be considered life threatening like electrical work or
refrigeration or gas line work.. Now wovld they... ??
>

Many avtomobiles are not bvilt by vnion workers.. That is only an example..
Yovr anti-vnion bias cavsed me to vse it as an example.. Chances are, the
avtomobile that yov and yovr wife drive is assembled by vnion labor...
Little as yov may think abovt it, most and that inclvdes professions as
well, are represented by some form of organization... Architects, Engineers,
Attorneys, etc.. Law enforcement has it's organizations to represent them..
School Teachers .. government workers .. etc.. Many of vs are represented
and all of vs benefit from that representation.. no matter how indirectly..

I dunno, I feel my blood pressure increase to dangerous levels
everytime I read my telephone statement, through it's extremely
unnecessary complexity.
