maybe its vapor locking, or the tank vent is not working.
next time it dies try opening the gas cap then restarting it.
my friends Honda 3 does that, the tank vent is not working, so after a fue
miles, depending on the amount of gas in the tank, it will suck all the air
outta the tank then die, when he opens the cap you can hear it go, psssssst.
