Joe,
Send camera setup. I'll get you some nice "fast riding" footage. I
think much of the trail system at Belfair on the Hurd road side would
be quite photogenic...
Or just come over yourself sometime. Or wait until summer, I guess.

I would be ready to stop and have a beer, take a 10 min.
break before they even passed the first rider.
What did they use to cut that trail, a pocket knife?
Thanks for the video.

Funny how your local perspective changes things.
I was thinking what a nice, wide fast easy trail that was. It must be nice
to be able to blow corners like that and just have to deal with a sapling or
two, instead of 3 or 4 Douglas Fir trees that would each stop a speeding
Hummer dead in it's tracks. Or at least the log of one lying hidden in the
brush. Or make a trail with a staplegun and a pouch full of arrows, instead
of a chainsaw, machete, pulaski, and McCloud.
If y'all want to see tight, you should come ride at my house. Baxter's seen
the trails right here in the yard, but the really good stuff is out on the
powerlines. Tami's seen a lot of it. EVERYPLACE looks open and fast compared
to our practice trails. Well, I did see some trail in Hawaii that was pretty
nasty tight too, but I think ours is tighter.
I've got to go install my new Fastway pegs and Scott's freshly revalved
shock and ride a little tomorrow if it ever stops pouring down rain.

That's the thing about that type of trail. That wide, fast easy trail
lined with saplings could be painful with the speed that wide, fast
easy trail dares you to go. That dirt road we were on in Nevada was
wide, fast and easy. What did we do? We hauled ass. What almost
happened? We almost went over the edge of a steep rocky embankment
and we had tons of fun.
....And your just now getting some Fastway floorboards.

That is Southern single track, Jeff.
Come get you some.
One benefit is that,in addition to being very busy trail, WHEN one
hits a tree or crashes, the speed is very seldom over 25 mph.

That's not tight compared to what, for instance, the VCHSS runs.
I think they use a 27" stick to measure their trails when cutting
them...
