Other than to replace the visor or the helmet:
-Look for a very fine jeweler's rouge made for clear plastics (these are
used in the aircraft and marine industries to maintain clear plastic
windshields and windows)
-Use a clean, soft cloth and lots of elbow grease, and don't try to get them
all out the first time, just get the worse.
When done wash the visor off with warn water and a little mild dish washing
detergent (when I wash mine, I put a drop of mild soap in my hand and I wash
it with my hands under a running tap (take your rings off). I air dry it,
sitting on a paper towel, and only wipe off the big drops or if it looks
like it will water stain).
-Apply Plexus (available at most bike shops). Wipe on with a soft cloth,
let it set a few minutes, then polish it dry.
There are a few simple rules that will make your visor last longer:
-Never wipe it off it is dry.
-Always use a clean, fresh soft cloth.
-Never use harsh cleansers (Windex included)
The bottom line, for the maintenance of visors and windshields, is:
-Every time you clean it, regardless of how careful you are, it gets
scratched (don't clean it unless it needs it).
-Don't use the paper towels at gas stations. Cary a clean soft cloth in a
zip lock bag
-Seal the surface with a fine machine oil or wax (Plexus). It will clear up
the fine scratches and make it easier to clean off next time.
Ride safe.

If you've given up on finding jeweler's rouge, just use toothpaste. The
abrasive is fine enough to put an optical surface on paint, clear coat or
plastic.

Yo, 'Bro.
In Sandy Hook, which makes me a Sandy Hooker.
Doesn't it make you proud to live on a "Destination Highway"? Aren't you
happy to be alive when you're first off the ferry?
Woody
PS What Does "TTYL" stand for, "Ta, ta, you looser"?

A Sandy Hooker Cool. Thats a nice twisty ride, those decreasing radius
turns catch me by surprise sometimes though.
Being first off the ferry is great! WOOHOO! Twist the fun regulator and let
er rip.
I'll be moving to Halfmoon Bay next month so will get to ride Redroofs Rd more
often. Beware the sandy bits from the last hailstorm though.
TTYL (talk to you later),

There is one "sucker corner" that suckered me every time until I realised
the utility poles beside the road aren't vertical. It gives the illusion you
are leaning farther than you really are, and that the road is banked (which
it isn't). However, it's good practice for those sucker corners on the Ruby
Lake section of the Earl's Cove road.
I love Redroofs Rd, but I always drive it legal 'cause of all the driveways
Wanna ride sometime? I often go up to Earl's Cove in the weekday evenings.
