....to the ATK side.
He took his first spin on our street yesterday. The lowered suspension &
seat make it quite workable for him. He was even able to start it
(left-kicker) without too much trouble. He can't wait to get out to the
track next weekend. He commented that it had a lot more power than the
XR200.
Over the weekend, I also finished lighting up the XR200 & installing the
license plate. It's now fully street legal.
It looks like I'll be taking both the ATK & XR when we go to Utah for spring
break in March.
Tami, there's now a pair of chick bikes waiting for you on your next
Colorado trip. Eric will have to ride the 650L.

Dang! That's sweet. I Wish Baxter would do that to his old EC300 for,
um, Tracy.

PWBT (Persons With Big Tanks)
ATK range is ~90 miles. Last time I did the big loop in the Swell, I
carried way too much extra gas.

Yeah, I'm going to introduce HellBoy to Coal Wash. He's also been asking
about 5MOH, so I'll take him on the Red Trail (definitely on the XR200)
Get rehabed in time for the real trip in late April. Sturd was talking
about coming out, but I think Amy's plans for him to undergo more surgical
alterations may impede his attendance.

How silly of me to overlook this.
The rate HellBoy is growing, I may not have the suspension lowered for too
much longer. As an incremental step, he will be given a choice of a
thicker seat, or more suspension.
I now know how Eric feels. I'm suffering from excessive bike maintenence
syndrome. Once I'm sure that HellBoy is totally hooked, it will be time to
make him work for his fix.

Your bike looks bitchin Chris, excellent work! So did you get enough of a
break-in ride to get a good impression of the difference the mods made?
I'll buy the plane ticket and beer whenever your ready to tackle mine!

Thanks, K-Dub! Lotsa bloody knuckles in the process...

Nope. Except for riding over Jeff's curb (the new susp. soaked it up,
I barely felt it). By the 3rd cycle, the engine sounded great,
however! A honed cylinder and new piston will do that

Pffft. Bloody your own knuckles, no amount of beer will entice me to
do that again However...
