My understanding is that they make 3 kits to convert your bike from a
cable clutch to a hydraulic one. The kits are a) a universal one, b) a
honda/suzuki/ktm, and c) a yamaha/kawasaki.

I want to look at putting one on my XR350. I put heavier clutch springs
in it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

If lighter clutch pull is what your trying to achieve, this isn't the
answer. My old yamaha has a lighter pull at the handle than a new KTM
(as long as i keep the cable oiled).
You may want to try a different lever. They make them with a lighter
ratio (the brand name slips my mind).

No it's not the clucht pull I'm trying to solve. I want to avoid cable
breakages and having to constantly adjust the clutch at the lever.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

The Hebo has a much lighter pull than the Magura.

That is a trade off. They trade lever effort for the amount of cable
pull. In other words, it won't disengage your clutch as completely for
a given amount of level pull.

They look to me like you would spend allot more time adjusting to
keep it in the sweet spot. Ladies like'm tho,cuz there easy to pull.

From what I've seen on GG vs KTM, the GG lever is longer and further
from the bar, easy to understand why you'd get more mechanical
advantage.

Also, comparing the KTM 4S to the 2S, the 4S has a lighter pull but is
not nearly as linear of an engagement, still a trade off...

The hydraulic clutch on my KTM 450EXC has a very light pull and a very smooth
engagement. Rarely needs adjusted. You hardly notice the clutch, which means
it's doing it's job.

I remember Bob (KTM dealer) saying he put lighter springs in that
250RFS we test rode. Must have been a reason for it but i don't recall
it having a great clutch. Kinda grabby as i recall.
