Big deal, Dunlop have made a brilliant 1 to 2 lap fast tyre, bring on
the race it will be going in reverse
Frankly this years championship is 100% all about tyres.
Bridgestone have done the bussiness, they others not!

Every year is pretty much all about tires, it's just not visible when
it's only one brand and they don't tell us who gets what... >> Stay informed about: Guintoli...? |

Guintoli has Rossi's record? That's news to me. And anyone without an
predictably boring agenda. yawn. >> Stay informed about: Guintoli...? |

I doubt the tire is all. Motorcycles have always been and will always be
about the total package, the trilogy: rider, bike and tire. If it wasn't,
heck, Capirossi would be the one likely to be running away with it based on
previous statistics compared to Stoner. Make no mistake - Stoner is the
right guy for that packae for whatever reason, it's the magic combo; just
like others have been before without anyone bawling about unfair advantages. >> Stay informed about: Guintoli...? |

Tires are the major factor right now.
Look at the results from Sachsenring and Laguna.
One week apart, so the mechanical side more than likely was identical.
In Germany -Pedrosa beats Stoner by 30 seconds Laguna -Stoner over Pedrosa
by 35 seconds.
But wait you're comparing a Honda to a Ducati
Lets look at Melandri instead. Honda to Honda
Germany- Pedrosa by 35 seconds
Laguna- Melandri by 10 seconds
Not as radical of a swing as Stoner, but considering Melandri was riding
courstesy of the Clinica Mobile from the back of the grid... >> Stay informed about: Guintoli...? |

Oh, you mean they explain the less-than-two-second qualifying
gap between the fastest and tenth-fastest rider? With those
ten being on three different brands of tire? >> Stay informed about: Guintoli...? |

Qualifying doesn't mean much as far as race performance goes. One lap flyers
are a dime a dozen...
And most of the time it's one second over the top ten, not two.Like this
weekend where 3 seconds covers the entire grid and the top 15 are within 1.5
seconds.Get the facts straight...
FP2 and 3 are more indicative of what the race pace looks like.
And once again the Michelin riders look in trouble
Tell me Einstein, how does Pedrosa go from 15 seconds up to 35 seconds back
in one weekend? And Rossi is 30 seconds off the lead in the same race?
It sure isn't the bikes or riders... >> Stay informed about: Guintoli...? |
