We're doing Christmas small this year. One of the few gifts tagged
for my two oldest are new complete moto-outfits. The gear was set for
UPS delivery on the 18th - and made at the "GARAGE" (according to
tracking info). Unfortunately, I don't have a garage where UPS
accesses. I'm guessing it went to someone else's garage. Gonna be a
little thin under the tree this year. Damn Grinch.

They weren't stolen, they were delivered to the wrong address.
This makes it UPS's responsibility completely.

Jay, is there any followup on this?

Yea - it's not a big deal anyway - just another on a long list of
events occurring over the past month (and especially the past week)
that proves without a shadow of a doubt that there is a God. And he
hates me.

Contacted UPS and seller - they started an investigation, et al.
SOP. All moot, as it turns out.

The package was recovered in the nick of time - it WAS delivered to a
neighbor, and shuffled amongst her pile of booty (which is why she
didn't notice it earlier). She found it while sorting through her
stuff, with about a half-day to go until zero-hour.

The kids ran around the house in their full (Fox) gear all day - my
house looked like the set of a rap video. Both were quite pleased.

The boy got me a new portable air compressor (my portable blew up last
week). Me pleased too.

Jay,

It all worked out in the end.....I don't think that God hates you, he just
has a sick sense of humor! Smile

Nah. He doesn't hate you. He's just toying with you for fun.
I'm very familiar with this concept. Learn to enjoy being on the
receiving end of Practical Jokes From Above. It'll make more
sense.
