Once you get all healed and stuff, would you mind going and kicking
the shit out of my brother in NH?

There could be more beer in it somewhere.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Only a few of the trails were 'dozed, only... very... few.

Besides, Mud doesn't have a 350lb rock-smasher.

I thought conditions were pretty good. The dirt was nice and tacky,
not too dusty but not too muddy, just right. The sections they dozed
really needed it. And they left a few ridiculous rock gardens at the
end if you feel like bashing your brains out. They aren't fun sections
durring the race (for me, anyway). I did those towards the end of the
day, and did my best just to go fast enough for the suspension to
realize I'm still moving. That's not quite fast enough for the
suspension to work well, though, methinx.

I'm glad they didn't touch those whoop sections this year. They groom
different sections each year.

They got some gravel in those mud holes. They trimmed those tall
reed-like plants in that section around the pond, with the lillies.
You know, the ones that wrap over your head and it's like you're in a
tunnel. The tunnel was getting a little tight last year. I like that
section.

Mad props to The Army Corps Of Engineers. They provide us with Federal
land that is the only legal public riding in Connecticut; a state
where they expect you to register and pay taxes on ATVs and dirtbikes.
Pathfinder Motorcycle Club too. They do a ton of work up there, and
they run the race.
No quads allowed. I love that.

Probably forty or fifty trucks there on Saturday.

On the first lap back,I was hitting one of those nice left handed
berms that toss you back up onto the dirt road. I decided I'd lay her
way over and give her a twist. I'm high up on the top of the berm and
a root catches my right foot. I did a big involuntary knack out of
there, almost went off the other side of the dirt road.

Really gotta get that helmet cam working.
Really, I guess I need one behind me. That's why I got two, too.

1 4 Desmond 2 2.

Mike. Maybe you could *walk* across the dam?
