The lava dome has started moving in the last few hours. The earthquakes are
three a minute.

The scientist are in a huddle.

The only word they will release is "Dramatic".

Less of a majority than usual. There are four war zones currently in
FL.

1) Punta Gorda and north for a good bit due to a direct hit by Charlie.

2) Panhandle due to Ivan

3) The Fort Pierce area with two direct hits within 3 weeks - the last
one a sizable property damage event.

4) Polk County where three storms crossed within 6-8 weeks.

Then, if you look at the Orlando area - it is not pretty at all - and
then add the flooding north of where I am and I'd have to disagree
generally with your assessment.

Overall, the "news" guys penchant for storm track and wind speeds are
woefully inadequate. The gusts I had here on the last storm were well
over 75 MPH when the wind shifted out of the west.

Mapquest sez it's about 123 miles and it's a damned fine ride.
I've converted the old shop behind the house to a guest cottage since
the construction of my new shop, so if you don't make it for the
campout, you're welcome to stay any time, just any time at all.
