If someone GAVE me a bike of MY choice.
Money were no object.
The first thing I think I want is a KTM 300
but then again a GasGas 300 is right up there.
Both those are two strokes. I might want a four stroke instead.
I dont want a Kawasaki. Not sure why. Just dont.
I like electric start.
The Yamaha 450WR with electric start might be the way to go.
Those big bikes sure do wear you out though.
The TTR250 looks nice.
Not a lot of power, but lots of suspension.
and electric start.
not much power though.
And there is not much power either.
then there is the power issue.
having troubles with that power issue.
There just is not a lot of power.
OK.
Decision made.
TTR-250
now.. uhm.....
WHO am I going to get to BUY that bike for me ?
uhm...
it is nice to dream.
Dave

If someone gave me a dirt bike of my choice I'd probably opt for
the KTM 300 MXC. I hate the color but it's one of the few remaining
non-4-stroke enduro bikes left. For the most part, I like 4-stroke
power delivery but I like the quick revving ability and lightweight of
2-strokes. Plus, who doesn't get all giddy by the scent of pre-mix in
the morning? ;->
My second choice might be a tricked out CR230F. It's red.

Hmmm...this one's easy: I want to put my CR125 frame in the dryer and
leave it in there just a little too long, till it shrinks about 3 or 4
inches. Then, I want to wedge my monster-truck GasGas 280 motor into
it. Put a trials tire on the rear and I'm good to go. I'd be in
heaven, I truly would...

Tami. I have a CR80 1981 model that I'll give you. Eric would have
no problem stuffing your 280GG motor into it.
When do you want me to deliver it, and where??? Kennedy Meadows over
Thanksgiving?!?!?!? hmmmm???
Then again... You might just be TOO tall for for that one. = )
As for me. I HAVE almost all my dream bike/bikes in the garage right now.
Life is good.

I have a 2001 Husaberg FX470e you could have for almost nothing. It will
definitely keep you entertained AND constantly feed any need you might have
for wrenching. God please someone free up that corner of the garage, please
please please.

I have one, a '97 - wanna buy it? It's mostly all black, the color is
fixable! However the MXC is the Cross-Country model, you want the EXC
for enduro. I'd get the Gass-Gas in order to have a 6-speed and even
more lazy power.

Dang, this almost makes me wanna say "bring it on!".
Anyone knows what it´ll cost to ship the hussy to Amsterdam, Netherlands,
Europe?
An ´01 for almost nothing...what does that amount to?
I don´t wanna insult you with too low a bid.
Glad this is a dreamrantthread....

What was the price on that bike? I've been moving bikes for a few people
lately, I might be able to help you out.

Thanks for thinkin' of me, bvt I can't deal with small wheels. I
