I don't know how you guys up north can do it...holding out over the
winter with no rides.

Its been three full weeks now I haven't beeen able to get out riding
and I'm going nuts.

Weekend one... down sick (Major projectile vomitting)
Weekend two...Off to buddy's house for semi-pro drinking and raw
oysters (I guess I got used to puking)
Weekend three...Now the wife is outta town and I have kids to look
after....

I need a long weekend of dirt....maybe Memorial Day weekend....

Anyone want to make an event out of it up in the Ocala National
Forest?

No shit! Poor wittle baby...three whole weeks with no riding! <BG> I've been
waiting since mid October! I'm salivating thinking it's only three MORE
weeks until my first ride of '04 is scheduled. As long as there's no ice
still on
the trails, that is. If you've never been surprised by going
ass-over-applecart, wondering what happened, and walked back and found a
sheet of ice under that wad of leaves you rode over you haven't lived.
Michigan rides in the early spring can be interesting! <g>

I'd LOVE to have only gone three weeks without a ride! Count yourself lucky,
bud...you've got it good!

You whiny bastard. 3 weeks. Wah.

I solve the problem of a long winter abstinance by taking a long
weekend of desert riding in Utah. 5 weeks & counting.

Snow rides with screws in the tires looks fun too, but that ice has
gotta be a bear to deal with!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Yeah...the whiny bastard trait kinda comes out after a few beers.....

I was in Vegas in February and all the trails through the desert
looked like a blast. They went on for miles.

Actually, with screws, the ice is what's fun and the snow is the bear.

3 weeks? It's been almost 6 months for me and we ride year 'round!
All because of a blown motor and a decision by yours truly to tear the
bike completely apart and rebuild, powdercoat, polish and plate
everything on it... Just gotta bolt on the skidplates and it's
done. Looks too good to ride tho... heheh<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
