No shit! I don't think my nice new heated grips are going to do much at 5
degrees F. Understand werewolf costumes with lots of real fur are the
popular pick for tonight.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Cold here too, and a little rain. The fires seem to have dropped off
the charts, except for a small note that the fog is a two-edged sword.
Somebody said there was snow down to 4K feet, but there can't be much.

In the 20s last night, 3-5" of snow in the high country yesterday, a
light dusting in the valley this AM, it might get up to the mid 40s
today.

It's predicted to be about the same this weekend, time to get into
winter ride mode. It's Murray's turn to be first across the iced over
streams this year. I demonstrated both the correct method and the very
worst method(s) (more than once!), we'll see if he (or I) learned
anything useful... <G>

Far more entertaining to follow, unless it's still dusty. I have 3
other un suspecting spodes wanting to go riding this weekend.

Bring the camera.

Chris J. is ready to ride and Karen has a new customer who is a rider,
wants to see something besides 8th St and Blacks Creek, maybe I'll
call him too.

Any ideas on where to go?

I was just in Anchorage, Alaska on Tuesday. I had about 1.5 hours to
burn until I could get to work installing a laser, so I went into
Costco. They had a kid in there installing friction spikes on tires
full time. I wonder how much that tool cost. I'm gonna look it up.

My bald head *hurt* walking to the mailbox last night - I need more
fur, but Sheryl doesn't like it growing on the back.

We don't get trick-or-treaters here, so I havn't been eating candy to
stay warm - since I've been wearting flip-flops, shorts and a t-shirt
for the past fourteen months, this bitter cold is a radical departure!
I want my Global Warming NOW, dammit.
