Again on Sunday......

More minor hassles with the house (like no floors anymore and a few walls we
wanted staying put being 'removed'....)

Anyway...

Those who mentioned going to France this summer and, maybe, visiting Chateau
Wavy and/or at least coming for a meal at Le Balandre, Cahors really ought
to e-mail me at dnk.haines.RemoveThis@btopenworld.com and/or ozrider2001.RemoveThis@hotmail.com or
I'll just forget....

Dave

Don't you just hate it when you hit 'send' *before* you type....?

Anyway, what I *meant* to say was:

I'll be extoling the virtues of Maxton shocks next week, or not as the

Ah-*HA*!!

So it *was* the cable, after all!

PS. Seriously; did it never occur to you, having seen programmes about
people doing this sort of thing, to take a little bit of time out and
manage the thing on the ground?

1. I don't watch those programmes.

2. I've had more hassle trying to put in a new kitchen in the UK than I
have with the whole wiring/central heating/solar panels/major building work
I've got going on in France... I *know* it's a bit more laid back, so we
gave them deadlines we *knew* were a few months before we wanted to move...

The way things are going, it'll be done *before* we move....

Of course there's so much more to go wrong yet...

3. I'm back out there at the weekend. That's the 4th week-long trip so far
this year. So I am almost managing it on the ground anyway.... At least
this time I've resisted the Terminus/Balandre Euro-fest I did the last few
times...[1]

average bill...<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
