Post subject: Fowl weather ride photos

It was rough going & the sheriff even stopped us at the one lane
bridge to WARN us to take it easy in the rain. The two visiting North
Carolina fellah's are the ones looking the most out of sorts. They did
fine though on unfamiliar turf and were taken with our SW scenery.

Jeepers Pard... rain riding will muck your bike up to the point where
you need to remove the engine from the frame to clean everything proper...

It was either that or sit out the riding all together this weekend. A
couple of our regulars were control riders for track day in the wet.

SOME of us don't have the luxury of 300+ dry riding days a year, Larry.
Anytime I go for a ride between late October and mid-July, and I don't get
rained on, I feel damn lucky. In the wet seasons, you just have to embrace
the rain as part of the experience. It can be fun, actually, as long as
you're not forced to commute in it.
