But it took both hands and several hours.

I noticed on the second day of WUDI that my CR seemed to loose its bottem
end. It was like riding a 125 that's geared for Baja. I rode through it
although it was a bit of a handful when Brian decided to take one
particularly hellish line up the side of a mountain. Other than that it was
ok, but I could definitly tell that something was amiss. Strangely, I
noticed the exact same problem when we were riding in Moab a few years back.

So today I'm working on the CR, getting it all purtied up to sell. I really
don't want to sell it to someone if it isn't 100% so I decided to pull the
cylinder to find out what's wrong. I thought maybe the rings were worn out.
I got the cylinder off and dang if the power valve wasn't stuck open. I got
all the gunk removed and and a new set of rings so everything will go back
together tomorrow. Someone is going to get a really sweet running CR.

And Jeff Neathery had the nerve to suggest that maybe it was me and not the
bike. HA!

I'm glad you posted this. I've been thinking lately that the bottom end on
my bike isn't what it should be. Going to check the power valve now.
