The race was fun. I screwed up yet another great ride. I burned
check #7 by 3 minutes because I wanted to be in better shade while
waiting to get on time for the possible. 50 yards cost me 12 points.
I ended up with 22 points and it should be 10 or 11.
Minute 1C
Check 1 1
Check 2 1
Check 3 1
Check 4 1
Check 5 1
Check 6 5:50
Check 7 -3 This killed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check 8 1
Check 9 1:15
Check 10 1
Check 11 7:15
Check 12 1

The bike is working better. The combination on the Dunlop 756 tires
and raising the forks in the 3x clamps made a difference. I plan on
raising the forks a little more to see how much better the front end
sticks.
Finish sminish. I want to win.

Crap Baxter at least you finished, my bike was working GREAT i mean awesome and
i was having a great ride I think i had 1or 2 points going out of the 4th check
then in that awesom high speed section just after the 4the check at about mile
30 or so i clipped a log i dident see until it was to late probablt in 4th gear
so i was cooking that send my cartwheeling into the trees I hit the dirt head
first my arm and hand went all hot and tingily is really scared me i could not
feel anythink i thought for a moment i may have actually broke mt neck! I sat
ther a few minutes and got all the feeling back but my shoulder and neck really
hurt (still do) so i rode back to camp one armed and took off I havent seen a
doctor but it seemes to be getting better, crap and i was riding really good
fastest I have ever felt the bike is really working stellar, oh well shit
happens i just hope im ok, glad you had a descent ride!

I was on minute 1 and arrived on minute 1. No points. I scored 12
bonehead points and only 10 actual points.

Damn Mike! I don't know how your guys do it.
You cartwheel off the bike in 4th gear, (probably 50-60MPH), and end up
with a sore shoulder.
I topple off my bike @ maybe 10 MPH and loose 10 hours of memory with
a concussion. I just don't get it?!?!?
I must be doing something wrong.
Glad to hear you are ok.

Uh, make that I scored 17 bonehead points and 10 actual points. That
took my top ten finish and moved it down to 44th place.
I really must become more disiplined in the art of riding possibles
safely.

Jeff, you obviously just don't remember the accident. It's your brain's
ability to protect you from the horrifying memory. It was at least 60 mph
over the lip, enough air to clear a few vw's, and struck that flock of low
flying geese. Thank God you cushioned the bikes landing or it would have
been ugly. Those parts are expensive, you know.

Thanks John... But I was wearing a thin jersy and the only
scrapes I got were a few small ones on my right shoulder. No
way I was going even over 10 MPH. More like 3-5 maybe. Or I just
fell over trying to get that last bit of swill out of the bottom
of my beer, and went over backwards in my lawn chair.
My friends are already giving me crap about me keep digging
into my cooler and saying, " who put all the #$@%# food in my cooler?,
I did'nt buy that!"
No brain, no pain.

Don't sweat those kind of comments. As for the injuries, well, when you
land on your head at 60 mph, you expect some amnesia. Remember: head
injury, not shoulder...
And drinking bear in a lawn chair can be very hazardous, right Sue?
(I'm going out of town for the weekend and she should be over that comment
by Sunday night. Hopefully. right?)
