O ye of little faith. Don't be. I emailed
mailto:phoenix@rainbowpuddle.com and advised them to set up in Mendota.
Far cheaper than either Hollister or Los Banos, and closer to I-5
which means more riders that are further away from Hollister and much
hungrier. Los Banos gets a lot of riders but nobody really stops there
'cept for gas or a beer and they're usually all in a hurry to get to
Hollister.

My mother was Cajun and I spent a few years growing up in LA, when she
and my dad split for a while. We stayed with three of her spinster
sisters (the unclaimed jewels) and every one of them could cook like
superstars.
I am often let down by what passes for Cajun cooking.

One of the most fun things I've done was to take a day long class at the
New Orleans School of Cooking when Ms. Mouse and I were there on
vacation. Learned a bunch of social history and a handful of legitimate
bona fide recipes that are killers.
Worth spending a day doing if you're in NO.

It didn't sound like that was an option for him. I thought it had to be
either Los Banos or Hollister. If he's got a choice, Mendota's a good
spot also, lots of riders on that part of 33.
But now where we gonna feed 100+ folks in Los Banos?

Well, at our next HOG meeting I'll suggest we take 33 this year if I
know they're gonna be set up. This year is the first year both HOG
chapters are combining for the Hollister event. Actually, if I were
them I would set up in both LB and Mendota. They'll make a boatload of
dough, even after expenses.
