Well Reekyites,
I'll be leaving Saturday morning for my 18-day 3,000+ mile Florida road trip.
The latest addition to the trip is enrollment in the California Superbike
School's Up On One Wheel Wheelie school at Orlando Speed World Dragway on March
4.
My former racing partner, George and I will be learning the squidly art of
wheelying from the pros, hopefully enabling us to star in future amateur stunter
films such as "Fat Middle Aged Yahoos Make Fools of Themselves On The Capitol
Beltway" and other such drivel.
The current itinerary is:
2/21 - Herndon, VA to vicinity of Raleigh, N.C.
2/22 - Raleigh, N.C. to vicinity of Charleston, S.C.
2/23 - Charleston, S.C. to Lake Park, GA (near Jennings, FL)
2/24-27 - AHMRA vintage roadracing, Jennings, FL
2/27 PM - Jennings,, FL to Tampa, FL (visit with aunt)
2/28 - Tampa, FL to Ft Lauderdale, FL (Pick up my daughter who is flying down)
2/29 - Ft Lauderdale, FL to Key West, FL (Meet up with George & his wife)
3/1-3/3 - Father/daughter 15th Bday celebration, Key West, FL
3/3 AM - Key West, FL to Ft Lauderdale, FL (Daughter & George's wife fly home)
3/3 PM - Ft Lauderdale, FL to Altamonte Springs, FL
3/4 - CSS Up On One Wheel Wheelie school @ Orlando Speed World Dragway
3/5-6 - Altamonte Springs, FL; AMA racing @ Daytona Speedway
3/7(8,9?) - Daytona Beach, FL to Herndon, VA
Ping me off-list if you are interested in meeting up irl for lunch, dinner, or
riding during any part of this trip.
Tim

Tim, I don't care how many schools you attend. That Harley bagger is
never gonna do a stand-up mono -
Have a safe trip.

Sounds like a full schedule there. And fun, too.
Wish I could be there to see you. I have family in Dania, right next to Ft.
Lauderdale.
Have a great time, stay safe and watch out for the blue-hairs and
alligators!

When you come up to Altamonte Springs, be sure to avoid I-4 through
Orlando from about 3 PM to about 7 PM. Rush hour. Ugly.
