Starting the season, is there anyone from Mid Florida who knows some
off-road riding areas other than Croom?
I spent last weekend in Ocala National Forest, but have no idea where to
ride.
Any suggestions?

Your welcome to head up to Tallahassee for a weekend! With over 500
miles of GPS'd trail, I can take you for two full days of riding and
never see the same trail twice. Most of the TST we have is incredibly
sweet, and during the Fall it's like riding with the air conditioning
turned on.

The really big whoops we save for the Capitol City Enduro every
October...

I'm sure you've seen the FTR site. If you haven't already, might I
suggest getting in touch with them:

I've always rode Florida (Tampa/St. Petersburg) but what I really hate is
the sand and continuous whoops like at Croom (Brooksville) and Ocala
National Forest. I don't mind some whoops, but riding 7 miles of them can
really ware me down.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
