My NX200. The clutch was well, slipping under heavy load, of course, I
could ride slow and civilizated, but then that's not funny. So, I got
a set of clutch disks. Cheap, I should have bought it a looong time
ago.

Anyway, saturday I was alone @ home, and tv got *boring* after
watching that doc on crocodiles at discovery channel (for the third or
fourth time). I decided to get the fingers greasy instead of updating
my webpage (20 pictures ready to scan and go online)

Solved a short on the blinkers relay (solding wire, araldite and duct
tape) and since I had the clutch disks and gaskets, I decided to
replace them. I've done that job four times: Two Agrales, a RM125 and
a XL125. I tought it was going to be easy! NOT!!! There's the oil pump
that prevents the clutch basket to go out and wonder what? It's
required a special tool (that costs *three* times the price of the
clutch disks) and worst of all: "Not Available" was the answer I heard
on the bike shops of my city when asking for the tool... Fortunatelly,
I can have a machine shop make one for me, one of the guys at the last
bike shop I went told me how...

I came to work using the public transport bus system. Cool, the driver
was a *hot* blonde. She was very good driving that big diesel bus on
the caotic traffic we have here...

"Special Tool" is just another word for something you can make in
a half hour in your shop.

Or replaced with a screwdriver and a hammer... Smile

My buddy Eduardo went to my home yesterday at night and he invented a
way to put the screwdriver and hit with the hammer, and half dozen
hits later, the nut turned! We replaced the disks and I came to work
riding my bike today. Of course, nothing - and nobody - is perfect, so
I misplaced the gasket and it leaks - bad. Not a big problem, later I
get another gasket so I can replace it this night... Meanwhile, I can
buy a half liter of oil at nearest gas station so I don't risk
starving the engine for oil....

No more bus rides!

SIGH
So, you need to take the bus again while you repair that gasket.
