BT, I have some friends from Gunning who are keen to attend. Harmless
BMW drunks who can't operate a PC to save themselves.
I won't be there to supervise the armless drunks (I'll be in the UK
unloading my bike from the container for a ride around Ireland), so if
you're happy to have them there please email me the directions.
They are expert campers, but poofter drinks might be beyond their
wildest dreams.
btw it's Peter & Wendy Robinson.
Kind regards

I'm hoping to (give me a couple of more days and I'll give you a
definite answer).

Convoy?
I'm planning on heading off of Friday morning.
First draft route is via St Andrews, Kinglake (want to try out the road
from kinglake to Glenburn, I've heard it's good) Yea, Mansfield (or
maybe Alexandra- Eildon- Jamieson) Tolmie, Beechworth, Yakandandah,
Granya to Tintaldra for the night, then Khancoban, Jindabyne, Adaminaby
and the Shannon's Flat road to Tharwa, then on through Queanbeyan to
Tarago. Is that a bit much? Maybe the Cotter road could fit in there
somewhere.
Returning Sunday via the Monaro, Cooma, Adaminaby Cabramurra, Corryong,
Talangatta, Beechworth, Glenrowan and down the Hume.

I prolly shouldn't, too many airheads about already
Starting to look more unlikely atm, I don't think they'll take what I'm
willing to pay, needs prolly $1500 spent to get it back on the road,
which is a fair percentage of what its worth, and I've seen a few other
options for the price+repair cost that are on the road and in decent
nick.
Of course none of the bloody things are in Sydney, The one I've been
most tempted by was in mt bloody isa.
Don't mind me, I haven't been for a ride in 4 months, so I'm not exactly
sane atm >> Stay informed about: Final Reminder: 4th Unaugural - May 6 |

I'm planning on intending to come if finances permit!
The curse of only being a casual is that I don't get paid during
school holidays, which means no pay until about a week after the
event. So if the finances hold out during the holidays then I'll be
there! >> Stay informed about: Final Reminder: 4th Unaugural - May 6 |

I'll be driving my truck up from Melbourne a few days beforehand to make preparations (bonfire building, booze buying, shed-sweeping-out, etc.), so if you'd like me to transport stuff for you (eg. feather doonas and mattresses...
un-unaugural aus.moto rally of Tarago - I'm trying to find an appropriate date for next year's un-unaugural. It'd be best over a long weekend, to allow the Melbourne folk a chance to attend. Easter is on the 25-28th of March, so the bonfire wouldn't be a goer; Anzac Day is the Autumn Leaf..
3rd Unaugural aus.moto Rally of Tarago - May 14! - Only 2 weeks to go - how exciting! ;-) I'll provide the ice, bangers, bread, onions, etc. You need to bring yourself, any BBQ meat you like (if bangers aren't your thing), booze of your preference, and something to sleep in. There will be about 6m x 6...
4th Unaugural aus.moto rally of Tarago - May 6th - A few people asked me yesterday to stop stalling and choose a day, so May 6 it is. No doubt it's the same day as the "Back of Armpit Rally" that everyone is already booked into, but there you go. ;-) I'll be driving my truck up from Melbourne...
UnAugural aus.moto rally of Tarago - April 10! - (Same text as the 5-week reminder, so if you've already read it there's nothing to see here, move along...) Now only 3 weeks away! Last year's pictures: http://www.geocities.com/za2bb/tarago_rally/index.html It's on Easter Saturday to allow.. |
