Well, if they were in Florida they would do like they do to shark
meat: Scoop it out with an ice cream scooper (to give it a round
shape) and call it Scallops, then charge big bucks for a plate.

What makes me crazy is people who say "comfterble". It's spoken more
often than "comfortable" even among cable news bimbos. However, I prefer
tidal wave over tsunami. I have a hard enough time with diphthongs.

Unfortunately the term "killer whale" is the one that dipthongs are most
comfterble wif.

I hate to tell you this, but "comfterble" is one of two correct and
acceptable pronunciations. And the one I use. <g> I guess it's sorta like
every place in England that has "cester" in the middle of it. Like
"Worcester" is pronounced "Worster."

That would be "Wor'ster" (they probably introduced the okina into
Hawaiian language). Which is a contraction, and is a regional thing.
Here we say "Worcestershire sauce". But only because it annoys people.
Those are, of course, the same people who mangled the perfectly
beautiful word "boatswain" and it's lexical bedfellow, cockswain.
