Archived from groups: tx>motorcycles (more info?)

With all the upgrades to the Hurricane, I decided to add a new
exhaust. When it came in, I rushed home and pulled off the old
exhaust. Before I put the new on, I asked Shadow Babe if she wanted to
hear what a MotoGP bike sounds like. She was in the garage talking to
me while I worked (it's great when there's a calendar of a Babe in the
garage, it's better when there's one with you) on the motorcycle. She
said "sure". I fired up the Hurricane with nothing but the headers and
that thing roared to life and had a wild sound to it. Her eyes got big
and bright. I cut off the engine and continued installing the pipe.
When I got done, I started it back up to see how it sounded. Shadow
Babe looked at me and said "it sounded better before you put the final
touches on". While she was all pissed about the way the bike sounded
now, I kept having to explain why I can't run with just the headers.

Geez, now I'm shopping for a micro unit that will give the same sound
but not affect the valves and timing of the motor!!!

The things we do for our babes!!!
